We are looking for a remote Chief LabVantage Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have very good practical experience and knowledge about how to Customize and Configure LabVantage to implement the requested business workflows and integrate LV with other systems. Your primary focus will be to develop code in LabVantage for custom business logic, configure LabVantage to implement requested workflows, consult Business Analyst about LV capabilities and limitations, and develop integrations of LabVantage with other systems & lab tools. You will work closely with a team of Business Analysts, Developers, and QA to deliver quality results within the specified deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Develop code in LabVantage for custom business logic
- Configure LabVantage to implement requested workflows
- Consult Business Analyst about LV capabilities and limitations
- Develop integrations of LabVantage with other systems & lab tools
- Provide estimates for the requested changes and evaluate the dependencies
- Work in a team (BA, Developers (incl. internal Client engineers), QA) by iterative sprints and closely collaborate at all team ceremonies: grooming, plannings, etc.
- Troubleshooting and root cause analysis of issues, including issues with integrations and data flows from o other systems
- Contribute to project documentation to describe technical solutions & architecture
Requirements
- At least 7 years of relevant professional experience
- 2+ years of relevant leadership experience
- Strong experience and knowledge of LabVantage LIMS development and customization
- Experience in configuring LabVantage to implement requested workflows
- Expertise in developing integrations of LabVantage with other systems & lab tools
- Knowledge of Java, JavaScript, Groovy
- Proficiency in English at an upper-intermediate level

- Knowledge of Jira
- Experience in the Life Sciences
- Proficiency with Python
