We invite a Chief Java Developer to be part of our remote team.

In this role, you will work on advanced technologies in the GenAI domain and gain hands-on experience with vector search. Your primary responsibilities will include developing and enhancing the cloud-based search engine, implementing sophisticated full-text semantic and vector search capabilities, and leveraging AI methodologies to address business challenges.

Responsibilities
  • Enhancement and continuous improvement of the cloud-based search engine
  • Implementation of advanced full-text semantic and vector search features mainly for RAG use cases
  • Utilization of AI methodologies to address business challenges
  • Participation in the development of high-end products
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance client offerings
  • Contribution to the continuous improvement of the search engine
Requirements
  • A minimum of 7 years' development experience with a strong focus on Java
  • A demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team of engineers
  • Proficiency in enterprise search platforms, full-text search technologies, and search engines
  • Extensive experience with Amazon Web Services
  • Familiarity with Elasticsearch and Solr
  • Upper-intermediate level proficiency in English
Nice to have
  • Prior experience with Generative AI
  • Profound understanding of algorithms and data structures
  • Familiarity with Apache Lucene Core and OpenSearch
