Join our remote team as a Chief Java Developer and lead a team of skilled developers.
Proficiency in Java, AWS, ReactJS, and Algorithms & Data structures is essential for this role. As the Chief Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining complex web applications using cutting-edge technologies. You will work closely with the team, ensuring code quality, and providing guidance on the best practices to follow. Additionally, you will be responsible for leading a team of developers, providing mentorship, and guiding them in their career paths.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain complex web applications using Java
- Ensure code quality by following best practices and reviewing code
- Lead and mentor a team of 9 developers, providing guidance and support in their career paths
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to the team on best practices and emerging technologies
- Continuously learn and keep updated with the latest industry trends and technologies
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience working with Java
- Demonstrated experience in leading and managing teams of developers, ensuring successful project outcomes
- Proficiency in Algorithms & Data structures
- Expertise in Amazon Web Services
- Knowledge of JavaScript and ReactJS
- Experience working with a production Cloud environment
- Ability to communicate well with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Excellent verbal and written English language skills with an advanced level of competency (C1+)
