We are seeking a remote Chief Go Language Developer to join our team and execute the IAS Backend migration plan for our existing and future IAS customers.
Your primary focus will be to provide technical expertise in Golang, Cloud Platforms, and Google Cloud APIs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy containerized applications on the cloud and ensure seamless media processing.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the IAS engineering team to execute the IAS Backend migration plan
- Develop and deploy containerized applications on the cloud
- Ensure seamless media processing, with a focus on video processing
- Provide technical expertise in Golang, Cloud Platforms, and Google Cloud APIs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project completion
Requirements
- At least 7 years of relevant professional experience
- 2+ years of relevant leadership experience
- Proficient in Golang development
- Familiarity with SQL and database management
- Experience in developing and invoking Cloud APIs
- Upper-Intermediate English language proficiency
Nice to have
- Experience with Protocol Buffers and gRPC
- Proficiency with Google Cloud Platform services including but not limited to: GKE, Anthos Service Mesh(or Istio), Cloud Tasks, Cloud PubSub, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Cloud Workflows, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage
- Experience in developing and deploying containerized applications on cloud
- Experience in media processing (especially videos)
