Responsibilities
- Modernize the legacy platform built with Progress OpenEdge
- Design AWS cloud infrastructure, including S3, EC2, and Lambda
- Maintain and implement CI/CD pipelines for application deployment
- Ensure scalability, reliability, and security of systems using best practices
- Coordinate with software engineers to optimize between monolithic and microservices architectures
- Analyze and enhance infrastructure performance and cost management
- Collaborate with engineering, warehouse, and supply chain teams to facilitate automation and AI-driven improvements
- Document infrastructure processes and train internal teams in best practices
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering
- 2+ years of leadership within relevant roles
- Expertise in AWS services such as S3, IAM, EC2, Lambda, and RDS
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
- Skills in CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions
- Background in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or similar technologies
- Competency in diagnosing and resolving system performance issues
- Fluency in English
Nice to have
- Knowledge of supply chain, ERP, or warehouse management systems
- Background in Java development
- Familiarity with Progress OpenEdge
- Proficiency in Terraform Cloud solutions
- Understanding of workflows in GitHub Actions
