Responsibilities
  • Modernize the legacy platform built with Progress OpenEdge
  • Design AWS cloud infrastructure, including S3, EC2, and Lambda
  • Maintain and implement CI/CD pipelines for application deployment
  • Ensure scalability, reliability, and security of systems using best practices
  • Coordinate with software engineers to optimize between monolithic and microservices architectures
  • Analyze and enhance infrastructure performance and cost management
  • Collaborate with engineering, warehouse, and supply chain teams to facilitate automation and AI-driven improvements
  • Document infrastructure processes and train internal teams in best practices
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering
  • 2+ years of leadership within relevant roles
  • Expertise in AWS services such as S3, IAM, EC2, Lambda, and RDS
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
  • Skills in CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions
  • Background in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or similar technologies
  • Competency in diagnosing and resolving system performance issues
  • Fluency in English
Nice to have
  • Knowledge of supply chain, ERP, or warehouse management systems
  • Background in Java development
  • Familiarity with Progress OpenEdge
  • Proficiency in Terraform Cloud solutions
  • Understanding of workflows in GitHub Actions
