We are looking for a Chief Cloud Platform Developer to join our remote team and work on a project focused on Cloud Infrastructure.
You will be responsible for generating architecture designs, scoping, and implementing policies for the Cloud Infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have in-depth experience in Cloud Platforms, primarily on AWS, with additional knowledge/experience on either GCP or Microsoft Azure. You should be proactive, detail-oriented, and have a deep understanding of secrets management solutions like Vault, certificate management, cryptography, and encryption.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure for our cutting-edge projects
- Create policies and procedures for cloud infrastructure management and security
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost
- Develop and implement disaster recovery plans for cloud infrastructure
- Design and implement secrets management solutions like Vault, certificate management, cryptography, and encryption
- Implement and manage Identity and Access Management roles and general account management
- Design and implement Kubernetes solutions like EKS
- Provide guidance and mentorship to other developers and engineers
- Collaborate with the DevOps team to optimize CI/CD pipelines
- Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders on cloud infrastructure performance and security
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Cloud Platform Engineer with in-depth knowledge and experience of AWS and additional knowledge/experience of either GCP or Microsoft Azure
- At least 2 years of experience in leading software development teams
- Experience in generating architecture designs, scoping, and implementing policies for cloud infrastructure
- Expertise in Terraform, Git, and other IaC tooling
- Deep understanding of Identity and Access Management roles and general account management
- Familiarity with Kubernetes solutions like EKS
- Strong networking knowledge, particularly of networking in AWS
- Mastery of English (C1+ level) for clear and effective communication with team and stakeholders
Nice to have
- Experience with Cloud Design Patterns and Cloud Transformation
- Familiarity with serverless architecture solutions like AWS Lambda
- Experience with monitoring and logging solutions like Prometheus and Grafana
- Knowledge of containerization solutions like Docker
