We are seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer to lead and shape the organization's cloud infrastructure strategy while championing innovations with Go Language and AWS. This role demands a deep technical and strategic mindset to design and oversee secure, scalable, and high-performing infrastructures, enhance developer experience, and ensure the overall alignment of cloud platforms with business and customer needs.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor the Cloud Engineering team in delivering cutting-edge solutions, with an emphasis on fostering collaboration, skill development, and innovation
  • Define and steer the strategic direction of cloud infrastructure initiatives aligned with organizational goals and industry trends
  • Oversee and guide services related to HashiCorp Vault, authentication and authorization, cloud platform provisioning, and certificate monitoring
  • Architect, develop, and maintain high-quality, innovative code for automation and internal customer-facing APIs
  • Establish best-in-class practices for incident management and participate in on-call support rotation while ensuring team readiness and performance
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive High-Level Designs, developer-focused documentation, and strategic blueprints for cloud operations
  • Address and resolve highly complex issues spanning all layers of the technology stack, acting as the escalation point for technical challenges
  • Own release schedules, resource planning, workload estimation, and strategic priority alignment
  • Champion the design of secure, high-performing, and resilient services and infrastructure capabilities while balancing operational efficiency with innovation
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to ensure cloud architecture supports evolving business needs
  • Advocate for customer-centric cloud solutions while effectively managing risks, costs, and operational challenges
Requirements
  • Broad engineering experience, with a minimum of 7 years developing solutions in Golang
  • At least 2 years of relevant leadership experience in designing and managing cloud infrastructure teams
  • Expertise in secrets management tools like Vault, along with a strong grasp of authentication and authorization protocols
  • Advanced experience with certificate management and deep understanding of cryptography, encryption principles, and related technologies
  • Proficiency in implementing and managing authentication/authorization systems, including protocols like OAuth 2.0, SAML, and LDAP
  • Mastery of Terraform, Git, and other infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools, with a track record of designing scalable infrastructure solutions
  • Extensive experience managing and provisioning AWS environments at an enterprise scale, including advanced IAM role administration and account management
  • Proven hands-on expertise in Kubernetes platforms such as EKS, including experience in scaling and optimizing container orchestration platforms
  • Thorough understanding of networking concepts, particularly in AWS environments, including security group configurations, routing, and DNS management
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence decision-making at an executive level and collaborate effectively with stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize customer needs into strategic solutions while ensuring optimal performance and scalability
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English (C1 level or above)
