We are looking for an experienced and skilled Chief Cloud Azure Developer to join our team in a remote position. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying cloud-based applications on Azure, as well as leading a team of developers. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of relevant work experience and 2+ years of leadership experience, and will have completed 2-3 projects involving system design and architecture from scratch.
Responsibilities
- Designing and developing cloud-based applications on Azure
- Leading a team of developers in the development and deployment of cloud-based applications
- Collaborating with other teams to identify and implement solutions to meet business requirements
- Implementing best practices in software development, testing, and deployment
- Monitoring system performance and making recommendations for improvement
- Managing and maintaining Azure infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage, and networking
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in cloud-based development, specifically with Azure
- 2+ years of relevant leadership experience
- Proficiency in Terraform/CloudFormation and at least one configuration management tool such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or SaltStack
- Experience with PowerShell and Windows Administration/Linux Administration
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Experience in designing and implementing system architecture from scratch
- Fluent in English with a B2+ language level
Nice to have
- Experience with Python/Bash/Golang, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins/Bamboo/GitlabCI, Oracle, and MySQL
