We are looking for a Chief C++ Developer to join our remote team and lead the efforts for our client's project. In this role, you will be responsible for collaborating with the client to align expectations, developing tools and solutions to improve efficiency and productivity, and integrating new solutions with existing tools and pipelines. You will contribute to the overall technical vision of the team and work with Engineering leadership to ensure that we have the right framework.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and improve the Automation solutions/tools/frameworks
- Collaborate with the client to align expectations and negotiate solutions
- Integrate tools/Automation solutions to CI Systems and be able to debug them
- Debug C++ and C# code
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Contribute to the overall technical vision of the team
- Develop tools/solutions for repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and productivity
- Integrate new solutions with existing tools and pipelines
Requirements
- 7+ years' experience as a C++ Developer
- 2+ year of relevant leadership experience
- Expertise in Unreal Engine
- Experience with C#
- Proficiency with developing command-line tools and understanding test automation principles and the Testing Pyramid, Test Automation Framework structure
- Knowledge of white box and black box testing and automation
- Good understanding of HTTP protocol
- Experience with MySQL databases
- Good knowledge of XML
- Skills in unit testing
- Familiarity with API platforms like Postman and curl
- Project Management skills, and excellent soft skills
- B2+ English level proficiency
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
- Experience with a test automation driver like Selenium, Appium or MS Automation Driver
- Understanding of Test Automation approaches: Keyword Driven Development, Behaviour Driven Development
- Experience with Python
- Familiarity with at least one Command Line Interface (Cmd, Powershell, etc.)
- Basic understanding of 3D and 2D graphics
