We are looking for a remote Chief Automation Tester with 7+ years of relevant work experience, including 2+ years of relevant leadership experience, and 2-3 finished projects involving system design and architecture from scratch. As a Chief Automation Tester, you will be responsible for overseeing the automation testing process of our software products using Python and AWS.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement automation testing strategies and plans
- Collaborate with the development team to identify and prioritize test cases
- Design and maintain automation testing frameworks using Python and AWS
- Create and execute automated test cases for UI and API testing
- Analyze and report test results and provide feedback to the development team
- Manage and mentor a team of automation testers
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to ensure high-quality software products
Requirements
- 7+ years of relevant work experience in Automated Testing
- 2+ years of relevant leadership experience
- 2-3 finished projects and system design and architecture from scratch
- Proficient in Python programming language
- Experience in UI Test Automation (Selenium/Selene and/or WebDriver manager) and/or API Test Automation (urllib3 and/or Rester) and/or Test Frameworks (pytest and/or unittest and/or robot framework and or behave and/or gauge)
- Strong understanding of AWS services and cloud infrastructure
- B2+ English level
Nice to have
- Experience with code analysis tools such as pysonar2, coverage, and pylint
- Familiarity with BDD frameworks such as behave and pytest-bdd
- Knowledge of SQL and noSQL databases
- Proficiency in Unix systems
- Familiarity with GIT and networking
