We are looking for a highly experienced Chief Automation Tester in Python to join our team remotely. The ideal candidate should have at least 7 years of relevant work experience and 2+ years of relevant leadership experience, with a proven track record of delivering 2-3 finished projects and designing systems and architectures from scratch. The Chief Automation Tester in Python will be responsible for ensuring that our software products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement automation testing strategies and frameworks 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize areas for automation testing
  • Develop and maintain automated test cases to ensure comprehensive test coverage of all software features and functionalities
  • Lead and mentor junior automation testers in the team
  • Establish and enforce testing best practices and standards across the organization
  • Analyze test results and provide feedback to development teams for continuous improvement
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies related to automation testing
Requirements
  • 7+ years of relevant work experience in Automated Testing
  • 2-3 finished projects and system design and architecture from scratch
  • 2+ years of relevant leadership experience
  • Excellent knowledge of Python language and its libraries
  • Proven experience in UI Test Automation (Selenium/Selene and/or WebDriver manager) and/or API Test Automation (urllib3 and/or Rester) and/or Test Frameworks (pytest and/or unittest and/or robot framework and or behave and/or gauge)
  • B2+ English level
Nice to have
  • Experience with code analysis tools such as pysonar2, coverage, pylint
  • Experience with BDD tools such as behave, pytest-bdd
  • Experience with databases such as SQL and/or noSQL
  • Experience with Git and Unix
  • Knowledge of networking concepts
