Chief Automation Tester in JavaScript

We are looking for a remote Chief Automation Tester in JavaScript with over 7 years of relevant work experience, including 2+ years of relevant leadership experience, and a proven track record of designing and implementing system architecture and projects from scratch. As a remote Chief Automation Tester, you will be responsible for leading our automation testing team to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop and maintain automation test frameworks using JS
  • Lead, manage and mentor the automation testing team members
  • Collaborate with the development team to identify, prioritize and automate test cases for both UI and API
  • Create and maintain automated tests for web and mobile applications
  • Analyze and report test results and suggest improvements to the development team
  • Develop and maintain test scripts, test cases, and test data for different testing scenarios
  • Ensure that automated test scripts are robust, reusable, and maintainable
Requirements
  • 7+ years of relevant work experience in Automated Testing
  • 2-3 finished projects and system design and architecture from scratch
  • 2+ years of relevant leadership experience
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript
  • Extensive experience in UI Test Automation using Selenium WebDriver and/or Protractor and/or WebdriverIO and/or Cypress and/or Puppeteer and/or API Test Automation using SuperTest and/or Jest and/or Mocha
  • Experience with Test Frameworks such as Protractor and/or WebdriverIO and/or Cypress and/or Mocha and/or Jest and/or Jasmine and/or Puppeteer
  • Proficient in Cloud technology, specifically AWS
  • Excellent communication skills in English (B2+)
Nice to have
  • Familiarity with Node.js
  • Experience with build tools such as npm and yarn
  • Knowledge of loggers such as Log4js and Winston
  • Experience with code analysis tools such as SonarQube, eslint, and istanbul
  • Understanding of databases such as SQL and noSQL
