We are looking for a remote Chief Automation Tester in JavaScript with over 7 years of relevant work experience, including 2+ years of relevant leadership experience, and a proven track record of designing and implementing system architecture and projects from scratch. As a remote Chief Automation Tester, you will be responsible for leading our automation testing team to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain automation test frameworks using JS
- Lead, manage and mentor the automation testing team members
- Collaborate with the development team to identify, prioritize and automate test cases for both UI and API
- Create and maintain automated tests for web and mobile applications
- Analyze and report test results and suggest improvements to the development team
- Develop and maintain test scripts, test cases, and test data for different testing scenarios
- Ensure that automated test scripts are robust, reusable, and maintainable
Requirements
- 7+ years of relevant work experience in Automated Testing
- 2-3 finished projects and system design and architecture from scratch
- 2+ years of relevant leadership experience
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript
- Extensive experience in UI Test Automation using Selenium WebDriver and/or Protractor and/or WebdriverIO and/or Cypress and/or Puppeteer and/or API Test Automation using SuperTest and/or Jest and/or Mocha
- Experience with Test Frameworks such as Protractor and/or WebdriverIO and/or Cypress and/or Mocha and/or Jest and/or Jasmine and/or Puppeteer
- Proficient in Cloud technology, specifically AWS
- Excellent communication skills in English (B2+)
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Node.js
- Experience with build tools such as npm and yarn
- Knowledge of loggers such as Log4js and Winston
- Experience with code analysis tools such as SonarQube, eslint, and istanbul
- Understanding of databases such as SQL and noSQL
