Find me a job

We are looking for a Chief AI Engineer who gets a kick out of understanding tricky systems, tracking down stubborn bugs, and shipping software people actually use, and who knows how to use AI to move faster. You will solve real client problems, make architectural decisions, and help your team find better ways to build software using coding agents and modern engineering workflows.

Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of a goal from concept to delivery: understand the problem, challenge assumptions, choose an approach, and follow through to a production feature, validated architecture, or AI workflow
  • Put coding agents to work to explore codebases, implement features, test, debug, and review changes
  • Decide what to delegate to agents, where to intervene, and how to verify results
  • Configure and extend agent harnesses, including context, skills, specialized agents, hooks, tools, and execution environments
  • Connect agents to real repositories and engineering workflows to maximize their usefulness
  • Build feedback loops to improve agent performance over time
  • Try new approaches on real problems and measure what improves
  • Help teammates adopt practices and tools that demonstrably work
  • Write production code, reason about architecture, and debug unfamiliar systems
  • Explain technical decisions clearly and take responsibility for outcomes, including code written by agents
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience shipping and maintaining production software
  • Daily hands-on experience with coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or equivalents
  • Understanding of agent capabilities, limitations, and failure modes
  • Hands-on experience configuring and adapting agent harnesses using skills, specialized agents, and hooks
  • Understanding of context management, execution loops, state, and failure recovery in agentic systems
  • Capability to turn open-ended goals into practical steps and work through blockers independently
  • Skills in architecture reasoning, debugging unfamiliar systems, and explaining technical decisions
  • English proficiency at B2 level or higher
Nice to have
  • Experience building a coding-agent harness from scratch
  • Familiarity with custom tools or MCP integrations
  • Background in agent evaluations
  • Experience coordinating multiple agents
