We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to act as a subject matter expert within Business and Data Analysis.
You will work in Newtown, PA and various long-term unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S.
Responsibilities
- Participate in requirements gathering, analysis, design, implementation and testing
- Assist with documenting functional and technical requirements and creating specifications
- Utilize different software development methodologies, processes, techniques and quality planning methods in all phases of work
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Management Information Systems, Economics, Statistics, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Business Administration, International Business, Business Management, or closely related discipline; plus 6 months of employment experience in the job offered (Business Analyst), Systems Analyst, IT Analyst, Product Owner, Process Analyst, Functional Analyst, Software Maintenance Engineer, Project Administrator, Software Testing Engineer, QA Engineer, QA Analyst, or closely related occupation.
- Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- At least one of the following software development methodologies: RUP, Waterfall, Scrum, or Kanban
- At least one of following BA techniques/tools: SWOT analysis, requirement analysis, use case modeling, BPM, or mind mapping
- Modeling and analyzing business processes using at least one of the following modeling languages: UML or BPMN
