We're on the lookout for a capable SAP HANA Cloud Developer to join our team. This role puts you in charge of developing and maintaining advanced data models, pipelines, and backend solutions that support intricate business processes and analytics requirements across manufacturing, engineering, and operations settings. Responsibilities
- Build and sustain scalable, solid data models created natively on the SAP HANA Cloud platform
- Analyze and convert existing logic and workflows from outside systems such as Databricks, Alteryx, and KNIME into high-performing, native SAP HANA Cloud assets
- Perform in-depth performance diagnostics, query tuning, memory footprint optimization, and execution plan reviews to achieve sub-second latency on large operational datasets
- Sustain and enhance backend services that support enterprise applications, with particular focus on HADES list apps and downstream reporting engines
- Partner closely with Business Analysts, Product Owners, and engineering stakeholders to convert intricate operational requirements into clear technical specifications
- Define best practices around HANA modeling, code reviews, and CI/CD data lifecycle processes, while mentoring colleagues and driving adoption of standard operating procedures
- Spot architectural bottlenecks and edge-case issues proactively to prevent disruption to operational pipelines
Requirements
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a comparable quantitative field
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant, applicable experience
- Knowledge of and hands-on exposure to HANA Cloud, with HA300 training completion regarded as a plus
- Experience converting Databricks, Alteryx, or KNIME models into native HANA Cloud formats
- Background implementing HANA Cloud optimization techniques
- Experience working with HADES list apps
- Ability to collaborate effectively with business analysts to translate business requirements into technical outcomes
- A proactive attitude focused on resolving issues before they escalate
- Upper-Intermediate English language competency (B2)
