Our team is seeking a proficient SAP HANA Cloud Developer to join us. This role tasks you with designing and sustaining cutting-edge data models, pipelines, and backend frameworks that support complex business operations and analytics demands across manufacturing, engineering, and operations contexts. Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, and sustain scalable and dependable data models built natively inside SAP HANA Cloud
- Interpret and migrate existing logic and workflows from platforms including Databricks, Alteryx, and KNIME into efficient, native SAP HANA Cloud solutions
- Execute comprehensive performance evaluations, query refinement, memory optimization, and execution plan analysis to secure sub-second latency across large operational datasets
- Support, improve, and optimize backend infrastructure behind enterprise applications, particularly HADES list apps and related reporting engines
- Engage closely with Business Analysts, Product Owners, and engineering stakeholders to shape complex operational needs into actionable technical specifications
- Shape best practices covering HANA modeling, code review processes, and CI/CD data lifecycle oversight, while mentoring team members and reinforcing standard operating procedures
- Spot potential architectural issues and edge-case scenarios in advance to avoid disruptions to operational pipelines
Requirements
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related quantitative discipline
- At least 3 years of relevant professional experience
- Solid knowledge paired with hands-on work in HANA Cloud, with HA300 training completion viewed as a plus
- Experience converting Databricks, Alteryx, or KNIME models for implementation in HANA Cloud
- Background applying optimization techniques within HANA Cloud
- Experience working directly with HADES list apps
- Ability to partner effectively with business analysts, converting business requirements into sound technical solutions
- A proactive disposition when it comes to tackling issues
- Upper-Intermediate English language competency (B2)
