We are seeking a skilled Senior AWS DevOps Engineer to join the Enterprise Pipeline Workflow Enablement team to build and manage a scalable, secure and efficient CI/CD pipeline. This role is pivotal in supporting the enablement of infrastructure-as-code for our GitHub Actions pipeline and will contribute to a new Full-Stack team embracing new ways of working (NWoW).
Responsibilities
- Design, implement and deploy cloud platforms to support and meet business needs
- Identify, recommend and implement opportunities for improvements
- Develop and maintain strategies to maximize operation uptime and system stability
- Track system performance and address potential issues proactively
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
- Support the enablement of infrastructure as code across cloud environments
- Collaborate with the Full-Stack team to integrate server-side solutions
Requirements
- 5+ years of related work experience in cloud engineering or DevOps
- Understanding of core cloud infrastructure and platform concepts
- Expertise in CI/CD tooling, particularly GitHub Actions
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as CloudFormation, EC2 and Lambda
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code development and maintenance
- Deep expertise in TypeScript
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, Terraform and Docker
- Familiarity with Open Policy Agent (OPA), Nx or other monorepo orchestration frameworks
- Background in Java, Python or Bash
- Familiarity with Atlassian Confluence and Atlassian Jira
- Understanding of Cloud Operations and Network Administration
