Responsibilities
- Build, enhance, and maintain robust RESTful APIs and microservices for seamless integration with front-end and third-party systems
- Collaborate with product managers, QA, DevOps, and front-end engineers to gather requirements and deliver high-quality features
- Perform thorough unit testing and automated test coverage for server-side logic to ensure code quality and maintainability
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize backend systems using tools such as Splunk for monitoring and log analysis
- Lead code reviews and enforce coding standards, best practices, and architecture patterns across the team
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements and ensure compliance with continuous integration and automated deployment standards
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 6+ years of development experience with hands-on expertise in Java and Spring Framework
- Strong knowledge of APIs and microservices architecture
- Proficiency in front-end technologies including React, Redux, TypeScript, and JavaScript/ES6+
- Experience with tools such as Git/GitHub, Jira, Splunk, and automated test frameworks like JUnit or Serenity
- Ability to mentor junior developers and promote knowledge sharing within the team
Nice to have
- Experience with Azure, Docker, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, and Kubernetes
- Financial services background in wealth management
