We're looking to bring a skilled Lead DevOps Engineer onto our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys untangling complicated infrastructure issues and improving engineering practices within large-scale environments. You'll work hand-in-hand with teams across the business to support dependable, efficient, and secure development operations. If you're motivated by automation work, large platform transitions, and architecting systems meant to endure, we'd love the chance to talk with you.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the execution of sizable platform migration efforts while reducing interruptions for teams currently building software
  • Develop and sustain automation systems that promote consistent, dependable deployment cycles
  • Pinpoint and address technical problems that surface within build, release, and integration processes
  • Set up and manage access permissions and security measures across a range of development platforms
  • Design scripts and internal tooling that minimize the manual burden tied to everyday operational and administrative duties
  • Team up with engineering groups to assess infrastructure demands and put forward meaningful improvements
  • Monitor the health and performance of systems, acting early to head off possible points of failure
  • Keep detailed records of processes, configuration settings, and migration work to support shared learning across teams
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of hands-on, relevant experience working in a DevOps Engineer role
  • A minimum of one year spent managing or guiding development teams
  • Direct experience with GitHub Enterprise Cloud and EMU administration, including overseeing repository and organization migrations using GitHub Enterprise Importer (GEI)
  • Background resolving issues and handling migrations within GitHub Actions and CI/CD workflows, including self-hosted runners, secrets, permissions, and related integrations
  • Capable with Python and/or PowerShell, along with GitHub REST and GraphQL APIs, for automating migration work, configuration tasks, permission management, and post-migration verification
  • Upper-Intermediate English language competency (B2)
