We're looking to add a capable SAP HANA Cloud Developer to our growing team. In this capacity, you'll take ownership of engineering and maintaining state-of-the-art data models, pipelines, and backend solutions supporting complex operational processes and analytics across manufacturing, engineering, and operations domains. Responsibilities
- Build out, architect, and maintain robust, scalable data models directly within SAP HANA Cloud
- Review and reframe current logic and workflows originating from external tools such as Databricks, Alteryx, and KNIME into high-performing native SAP HANA Cloud assets
- Carry out detailed performance diagnostics, query optimization work, memory footprint improvements, and execution plan reviews to deliver sub-second latency across substantial operational datasets
- Keep backend services supporting enterprise applications running smoothly and efficiently, with specific emphasis on HADES list apps and downstream reporting tools
- Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Product Owners, and engineering partners to shape intricate operational requirements into defined technical specs
- Define standards around HANA modeling, code review practices, and CI/CD data lifecycle handling, while coaching colleagues and advancing standard operating procedures
- Proactively flag architectural vulnerabilities and edge-case scenarios before they create issues within operational pipelines
Requirements
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or an equivalent quantitative area
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant, hands-on experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of and practical experience with HANA Cloud, with HA300 training completion regarded as advantageous
- Track record translating Databricks, Alteryx, or KNIME models into the HANA Cloud environment
- Experience implementing HANA Cloud optimization strategies
- Direct experience working with HADES list apps
- Skilled at partnering with business analysts to turn business requirements into effective technical outcomes
- A proactive, solutions-oriented approach to resolving challenges
- Upper-Intermediate English language competency (B2)
