We are searching for a skilled Lead DevOps Engineer to guide our team in implementing and managing cutting-edge End User Computing (EUC) and virtual desktop environments. This role involves driving innovation, ensuring optimal performance, and maintaining security standards while collaborating across teams to deliver seamless solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and manage Citrix & Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments to ensure optimal performance, security, and user experience
  • Monitor and maintain Citrix & AVD deployments, including troubleshooting issues related to connectivity, performance, and user access
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AVD solutions with existing infrastructure and applications
  • Provide technical support and training to end users and IT staff on Citrix & AVD-related topics
  • Create and maintain documentation for Citrix & AVD configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides
  • Participate in capacity planning and scaling of AVD resources to meet organizational needs
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and regulations in the Citrix & AVD environment
  • Develop and enforce best practices for AVD configuration, deployment, and management
  • Design, deliver, automate, and script modules for related Azure services supporting AVD host pools
  • Stay current with AVD features, updates, and industry trends to continuously improve the virtual desktop environment
  • Collaborate with vendors and third-party providers to support and enhance AVD solutions
  • Resolve complex technical problems at a 3rd level of support when required
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field is mandatory, Master’s degree is an asset
  • Background in architecting and participating in complex EUC solutions in international environments or multinational organizations for over 5 years
  • At least 1 year of relevant leadership experience
  • Expertise in EUC/Workspace platforms: On-prem Active Directory/Azure Active Directory, Networking platforms, Imaging, Packaging, Intune, SCCM, Workspace One/AirWatch, with a strong focus on Azure Virtual Desktop & Citrix
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Administration is a valuable addition
  • Proficiency in DevSecOps tools and technologies such as GitHub, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Several years of experience in EUC & Workspace projects, including major Windows upgrades, EUC conversions from on-prem to cloud, and Citrix upgrades and migrations to Azure
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and Scrum
  • Competency in resolving technical problems acting as 3rd level support for projects
  • Strong upward and downward communication skills at all levels
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Team player with a proactive attitude
  • Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
  • Flexibility to adapt to different situations and multicultural environments
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English (B2+ level)
