We have an opening for a highly capable Senior SAP HANA Developer to become part of our team. This position puts you in charge of engineering and maintaining sophisticated data models, pipelines, and backend structures that power demanding business workflows and analytics within manufacturing, engineering, and operations environments. Responsibilities
- Construct, develop, and fine-tune SAP HANA native models, spanning Calculation Views, CDS Views, Stored Procedures, and SQLScript, to enable backend data processing and aggregation functions
- Create and sustain dependable ETL pipelines responsible for extracting, converting, and loading data from SAP and non-SAP origins, including SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, and other outside systems
- Team up with colleagues across different functions to architect scalable data flows and structures that support dependable analytics and operational reporting
- Formulate detailed data workflows while upholding solid data quality, spotting and resolving inconsistencies through regular monitoring and diagnostic efforts
- Boost business operations by providing purpose-built analytics, KPI tracking, and practical insights fueled by SAP HANA backend systems
- Increase the speed and efficiency of processing for large datasets and complicated workflows by drawing on SAP HANA's in-memory database strengths
- Work alongside engineers, business analysts, and solution architects on cross-team projects to capture requirements and deliver tailored, quality-focused solutions
- Engage actively in Agile (SAFe) ceremonies such as sprints, planning activities, and retrospectives, consistently contributing incremental value to stakeholders
- Keep thorough documentation covering technical best practices, workflows, and shared knowledge tied to essential SAP HANA solutions
Requirements
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a comparable technical area
- 3+ years of applicable experience in SAP HANA development or a similar SAP-related capacity
- Solid, demonstrated skill in SAP HANA native modeling, including considerable hands-on work with Calculation Views, CDS Views, Procedures, and SQLScript
- Experience designing and sustaining ETL workflows and data pipelines, with particular focus on SAP environments such as HANA
- Practical knowledge of integrating SAP systems, including SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, or other legacy platforms, into broader data pipeline processes
- Strong ability in optimizing data performance, tuning databases, and maintaining scalability for sizable datasets
- Comfortable working within Agile methodologies and using collaboration tools such as JIRA and Confluence
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills, backed by a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
- Upper-Intermediate English language competency (B2)
Nice to have
- Experience within manufacturing or engineering sectors, with particular relevance to quality assurance or supply chain analytics
- Background working with SAP Datasphere, SAP Data Intelligence, or other contemporary SAP integration technologies
