We are seeking an AWS Data Engineer to build and evolve modern cloud data solutions for our clients, ensuring scalability, governance, security, and alignment with enterprise architecture. You will contribute to Data Mesh, Data Lake, Lakehouse, and Data Warehouse initiatives across cross-functional teams—apply now to help shape data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities
  • Build enterprise data solutions on AWS to meet client scalability, security, and governance goals
  • Contribute to data platform strategies across Data Lake, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, and Data Mesh initiatives
  • Implement data solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards, security controls, risk, and compliance requirements
  • Implement data integration, storage, processing, and consumption patterns to enable analytics and AI use cases
  • Apply data governance guidelines covering quality, cataloging, lineage, and access management
  • Evaluate AWS services, tools, and architectural patterns suitable for high-volume workloads
  • Collaborate with engineering, analytics, data science, and business teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
  • Support technical definitions and contribute to digital transformation and platform modernization initiatives
  • Participate in architecture reviews and contribute to a data technology roadmap with the client
  • Follow and help improve best practices and standards for ETL/ELT pipelines, APIs, and data modeling
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in AWS-based data engineering and analytics platforms
  • 2+ years of experience with modern data architectures such as Data Mesh, Data Lake, Lakehouse, or Data Warehouse
  • Experience working with corporate clients and helping translate needs into technical decisions
  • Ability to contribute to architectural definitions and make sound technology choices
  • Project experience in AWS migrations or modernization of data platforms
  • Strong AWS data services knowledge including S3, Glue, Redshift, and Lake Formation
  • Advanced SQL skills with knowledge of Python or Spark
  • Strong communication skills for technical documentation and stakeholder alignment
  • English proficiency: B2 Upper-Intermediate
Nice to have
  • Experience with Amazon EMR and Amazon Kinesis
  • Experience with AWS Lambda for event-driven data processing
  • Experience with Amazon RDS in data platform contexts
