We are seeking an AWS Cloud Engineer to focus on Resiliency & Automation, delivering AI Resiliency Testing capabilities as part of an existing team. This role centers on improving an existing platform and enhancing its functionalities and stability through strong programming and cloud engineering practices.

Please note that working from the office in Gdansk or Krakow 3 days per week is required.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver end-to-end implementation of resiliency testing capabilities including design, development, integration and production rollout
  • Build and enhance cloud-native testing and validation services on AWS
  • Implement automated continuous validation of system resilience
  • Translate architecture into well-structured, testable solutions aligned to standards
  • Drive automation across the SDLC, including CI/CD pipelines and testing
  • Integrate resiliency testing into application workflows
  • Support capabilities such as chaos testing, service virtualization, orchestration and observability-driven validation
  • Own environment promotion and change management processes
  • Provide production support, troubleshooting and root-cause resolution
  • Contribute reusable engineering patterns and collaborate with architects and product teams
Requirements
  • 5+ years in software engineering or cloud platform development
  • Expertise in AWS services such as Lambda, ECS, S3, DynamoDB and CloudWatch
  • Proficiency in Python (preferred), Java or TypeScript and API development
  • Skills in CI/CD pipelines with a preference for GitHub Actions
  • Background in automated testing or resiliency/chaos engineering
  • Familiarity with observability tools such as Splunk and Honeycomb
  • Understanding of distributed system reliability and resiliency patterns
  • Knowledge of security, compliance and change governance practices
  • Capability to work from architecture and make sound implementation decisions
  • Fluent communication skills in English at a B2+ level
