We are looking for an AWS Business Operations Specialist to improve AWS partner operations through clear insights and disciplined execution. You will translate sales and operational data into actions, coordinate across teams on CRM and AWS ACE opportunity tracking, and support process and project governance to strengthen outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Analyze AWS sales and operational metrics, including internal CRM oversight and AWS ACE opportunity tracking, and track revenue, usage, and forecasting
- Coordinate with the Operations team to keep internal and external data reports aligned, consistent, and accurate
- Identify operational improvement opportunities and propose approaches to increase return on investment for AWS initiatives
- Prepare financial summaries and executive-ready presentations for leadership review
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure AWS opportunities are managed well and executed effectively
- Track project schedules, key milestones, and deliverables to confirm objectives are met
- Participate in partner and alliance strategy sessions, including resource allocation and risk evaluation
- Diagnose workflow blockers and inefficiencies, recommending updates that streamline business processes
- Implement best practices and introduce automation to enhance operational workflows
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, finance, information technology, or a related area
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in the IT sector
- At least 3 years in roles such as lead, manager, owner, architect, or coordinator
- Minimum of 2 years managing teams of 20 or more people
- Experience across 5 end-to-end project cycles or in launching a product or major product feature
- Ability to take initiative, structure and analyze data, and convert insights into practical actions
- Proven background in business and partnership operations
- Strong analytical abilities, including experience interpreting financial information
- Project management skills, including familiarity with project management software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a group setting
- Strong problem-solving skills and sound decision-making capabilities
- Understanding of cloud security and compliance requirements
- Advanced English (C1) proficiency, written and verbal
Nice to have
- Experience in a similar role within a System Integrator (SI) or Global System Integrator (GSI) environment
- Background in building automated self-service reporting and dashboards using Looker, Power BI, Tableau, or comparable business intelligence platforms
