We are seeking a skilled Automation Tester to join our dynamic team and contribute to quality assurance efforts for our .NET-based projects.
The ideal candidate will bring a mix of manual testing expertise, proficiency in automation frameworks, and a collaborative mindset to ensure the robustness of our applications.
Responsibilities
- Create and execute comprehensive manual and automated test cases aligned with project requirements
- Develop and maintain automation scripts for both legacy systems (C#/Selenium) and modernized pages (TypeScript/Cypress)
- Conduct API testing and implement automation strategies for backend systems
- Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders in an Agile environment to ensure software quality
- Investigate and document defects, working closely with developers to resolve them
- Contribute to the automation framework's continuous improvement and scalability
- Analyze project requirements to identify appropriate test approaches
- Maintain test environments, ensuring proper configurations and data setup
- Document testing procedures, methodologies, and results for knowledge sharing
- Adapt to using TypeScript and Cypress for writing modernized autotests as the project evolves
Requirements
- 2+ years of proven experience in manual software testing and test automation
- Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or WebdriverIO
- Programming proficiency in C#, Java, or TypeScript/JavaScript
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and Quality Assurance processes
- Experience with API testing and automation techniques
- Working knowledge of SQL and database operations
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
- Knowledge of cloud technologies and platforms
- Fluent English communication skills at a B2+ level
Nice to have
- Background in testing within .NET-based environments
- Familiarity with transitioning and maintaining automation scripts across legacy and modern tools
- Expertise in debugging and optimizing test scripts in dynamic codebases
- Capability to work effectively with cloud-native automated environments
