We are looking for a skilled Automation Tester with expertise in .NET to join our team and play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our applications.
In this role, you will test complex systems and implement automation solutions to improve accuracy and efficiency. This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and contributing to the development of innovative systems, helping maintain the high standards of our software products.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement automation frameworks and testing strategies for .NET applications
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to identify testing requirements and objectives
- Perform manual and automated tests to detect software defects and verify specifications
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or WebdriverIO
- Conduct API testing and automation to ensure smooth data exchange between systems
- Analyze test results, document findings, and provide constructive feedback to development teams
- Validate database functionality and test data accuracy using SQL
- Enhance testing processes and methodologies for continuous improvement
- Participate in Agile workflows, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
Requirements
- Background in automation testing with at least 2 years of experience in .NET applications
- Qualifications in manual testing to confirm software functionality and usability
- Proficiency in tools like Selenium, Cypress, or WebdriverIO for automation testing tasks
- Skills in programming languages such as C#, Java, or TypeScript/JavaScript for scripted automation
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and Quality Assurance practices
- Expertise in API testing and automation to validate system communication
- Knowledge of SQL and database operations to ensure data integrity and consistency
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken, at a B2 level or higher
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for streamlined workflows
- Knowledge of cloud environments and platforms for testing cloud-based applications
