Automation Tester in .NET

We are looking for a skilled Automation Tester with expertise in .NET to join our team and play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our applications.

In this role, you will test complex systems, implement automated solutions, and improve accuracy and efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to innovative software solutions while maintaining the highest standards for our products.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop automation frameworks and testing strategies for .NET applications
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to define testing objectives and requirements
  • Perform manual and automated tests to detect software defects and ensure specifications are met
  • Create and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or WebdriverIO
  • Execute API testing and automation to verify seamless system communication
  • Analyze test results, document findings, and provide actionable feedback to development teams
  • Validate database accuracy and ensure data integrity using SQL-based testing
  • Contribute to refining and improving testing processes and methodologies
  • Participate in Agile workflows, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
Requirements
  • Background in automation testing with a minimum of 2 years of experience in .NET applications
  • Qualifications in manual testing to ensure software usability and functionality
  • Proficiency in using automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, or WebdriverIO
  • Skills in programming languages such as C#, Java, or TypeScript/JavaScript for creating automated scripts
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and Quality Assurance practices
  • Expertise in API testing and automation to verify system communication and functionality
  • Knowledge of SQL and database operations to ensure data accuracy and reliability
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken, at a B2 level or higher
Nice to have
  • Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for streamlining workflows
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies and platforms for testing in cloud-based environments
