Responsibilities
- Design and implement automated test cases using Appium for Smart TV and streaming platforms
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines such as Azure DevOps and Jenkins
- Maintain and evolve test frameworks, test data, and test environments
- Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to define test strategies and acceptance criteria
- Analyze test results to identify root causes and drive resolution
- Contribute to test planning, documentation, and reporting activities
- Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in test automation for mobile, embedded, or Smart TV platforms
- Strong hands-on experience with Appium using JavaScript or TypeScript
- Familiarity with BDD frameworks such as Mocha, Cucumber, or Jasmine
- Solid understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and test result reporting
- Experience with CI/CD tools and version control systems like Git and Azure DevOps
- Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills
- Proficient English language skills, level B2 (Upper-Intermediate)
Nice to have
- Experience with Suitest for Smart TV automation
- Background in gaming or game testing on console or cloud platforms
- Familiarity with WebDriverIO, Selenium, or Playwright
- Knowledge of Device Automation Bus or similar device control frameworks
- Exposure to Azure/Kusto for test result analytics
