Automation Tester in JavaScript

We are seeking a skilled Automation Tester proficient in JavaScript to join our team.

The primary focus will be on the migration of our current website to Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) as a Cloud Service. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in functional testing, leveraging both manual and automated testing approaches to ensure the quality of the migration process.

Responsibilities
  • Document and execute test cases specifically targeting functional aspects.
  • Implement automation for the identified test cases.
  • Review code, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
  • Conduct code reviews to maintain consistency and adhere to best practices.
  • Collaborate effectively with the team to achieve project goals
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of working experience in an automation testing role
  • Qualifications in JavaScript and basic familiarity with TypeScript
  • Understanding of software testing principles, covering regression and test case design
  • Familiarity with functional, integration and performance testing
  • Knowledge of test automation concepts and tools
  • Proficiency with common testing frameworks such as Playwright or Webdriver.IO
  • Background in HTML, CSS, DOM, RESTful APIs and JSON
  • Experience working with Git
  • Clear communication skills, capable of ensuring effective verbal and written exchanges
  • Ability to work collaboratively and request assistance proactively
  • Competency in addressing challenges creatively and accepting guidance from experienced team members
  • Proactive in learning, improving coding and testing skills and adhering to established standards and best practices
Nice to have
  • Skills in Mocha/Chai or Cucumber
  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence or XRay
  • Familiarity with Bitbucket or Jenkins
