We are looking for a strong Automation Tester in Java to join our team.
In this role, you will play an important part in ensuring the quality and stability of software products through effective automation practices. You will collaborate with engineering teams to drive testing excellence and contribute to delivering reliable, high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement automation testing solutions that align with project goals and quality standards
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts to support continuous validation across releases
- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and other team members to ensure thorough test coverage
- Analyze requirements and translate them into well-structured test scenarios
- Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication
- Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
- Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes, tools, and frameworks
- Provide quality insights and reports to stakeholders to support informed decision-making
Requirements
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in automation testing
- Hands-on experience developing in Java and applying SOLID principles
- Practical knowledge of the SCOTT Pyramid for shaping effective testing strategies
- Experience working with databases in testing environments
- Understanding of Clean Architecture principles and their application in test automation
- Proven experience in test automation, including E2E and REST service testing
- Ability to document and execute test certification processes
- Skills in designing and developing use cases for testing
- Hands-on experience with AWS services in testing contexts
- Familiarity with the Screenplay design pattern for structuring automation code
- Proficiency with tools such as Selenium, Gherkin, and Cucumber for automation and BDD testing
- Working knowledge of DevOps tools and practices
- Solid SQL skills for querying and validating data in testing scenarios
- Good oral and written communication skills in English (B1+ level or higher)
Nice to have
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines to support automated build, test, and deployment workflows
- Hands-on use of GIT for version control and collaborative development
- Familiarity with risk matrix management and assessment to prioritize testing efforts
- Background in test case development, including designing structured and reusable test scenarios
