Automation Tester in Java
We are seeking an experienced Automation Tester in Java to join our dynamic team and help us build and maintain our automation framework.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, implementing, and improving automated tests to ensure the highest quality of our software products. This role requires strong problem-solving skills and a passion for continuous learning in the ever-evolving tech landscape.
Responsibilities
- Write functional, integration, and acceptance test cases
- Automate test cases for regression, functional, and smoke testing
- Execute automation tasks, ensuring compliance with testing standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues creatively and efficiently
- Automate testing for back-end services (REST APIs) and front-end platforms
- Document and report defects
- Manage test data and test environments
- Version control management of test scripts
Requirements
- 3+ years of Quality Assurance experience with at least 2 years in test automation development or a combined experience of development and testing
- Proficiency in Java
- Knowledge of Jenkins and Git
- Competency in creating and maintaining automation scripts
- Background in agile methodology
- Skills in REST testing and Selenium or similar tools
- Familiarity with integrating test suites with CI/CD pipelines
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Qualifications in functional, integration, and regression testing
- Understanding of manual testing at a proficient level
- Fluent English communication skills at a B2+ level
