We are looking for an Automation Tester to join our team. This role is a great fit for a detail-oriented professional eager to contribute to the delivery of reliable, well-tested software. You will work alongside cross-functional teams to support quality initiatives throughout the development process. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute automated test scripts to verify application functionality across various scenarios
- Work closely with development teams to understand testing needs throughout the project lifecycle
- Review test results to identify defects, patterns, and areas where quality can be improved
- Maintain and update automation scripts to keep testing processes accurate and efficient
- Support the definition of quality standards and testing practices across projects
- Take part in sprint planning and review sessions to keep testing activities aligned with delivery schedules
- Document test cases, scenarios, and results to maintain clear traceability and support knowledge sharing
- Research and suggest new tools or techniques to improve testing coverage and efficiency
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
- Experience with Azure DevOps for managing testing workflows, pipelines, and project tracking
- Familiarity with Gherkin for writing clear, structured behavior-driven test scenarios
- Proficiency with Git for version control and collaborative code management
- Experience working with PostgreSQL for managing and querying relational data during testing
- Proficiency in SQL for writing queries to support data validation and testing activities
- Experience with Serenity BDD for building and executing automated behavior-driven tests
- Knowledge of data analytics applied to quality metrics to support data-informed quality decisions
- Familiarity with GenAI tools, such as GitHub Copilot and Windsurf, to support and enhance testing workflows
- Knowledge of agile methodologies or frameworks, such as Scrum or Kanban
- Excellent English communication skills (B2 level or higher)
Nice to have
- Experience with Cucumber for writing and executing behavior-driven test scenarios
- Familiarity with GitHub Copilot for accelerating test script development through AI assistance
- Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot to support productivity and testing-related tasks
- Understanding of test automation framework architecture to support scalable and maintainable testing solutions
- An AI certification, preferably in Copilot, with additional certifications in Claude, Gemini, GPT, Grok, or similar tools considered a plus
