Associate Project Manager

We are seeking an Associate Project Manager to work remotely with our team. Our client is a notable leader in the world of private and corporate wealth management. Your primary role will involve overseeing the development and implementation of various customer-facing product initiatives. The Associate Project Manager will play a crucial role in coordinating project activities, communicating with stakeholders, and driving the project to successful completion.
Responsibilities
- Define and clearly communicate the product vision and strategy for the project
- Collaborate in unison with stakeholders to gather requirements and prioritize the product backlog
- Close liaison with development teams to ensure timely delivery of features and improvements
- Conduct in-depth customer interviews to understand their needs and incorporate their feedback into product development
- Manage and mentor a dedicated team of professionals working on the project
- Monitor project progress and make required adjustments to ensure successful implementation
- Develop and manage budget plans and cost estimations for the project
- Assist in the design and implementation of smooth project workflows
- Ensure all project documentation are maintained and updated regularly
- Constantly maintain communication with all stakeholders, keeping them informed about project status and developments
Requirements
- At least 5+ years of overall IT experience
- Minimum 2 years of leadership experience, preferably managing teams of 5 or more in a Project Management role or similar
- Track record of participation in at least 2 full cycle projects or multiple projects covering different phases of development lifecycle
- Fundamental knowledge and practical experience of SDLC and project management methodologies
- Basic understanding of Project Management techniques and practices
- Strong grasp of Agile principles and Scrum methodologies for effective project execution
- Demonstrated ability to develop and communicate a clear and persuasive product vision
- Exceptional multi-tasking ability, adept at managing diverse priorities concurrently
- Strong problem-solving skills and decision-making ability
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written, at an Upper-Intermediate level for effective international collaboration
Nice to have
- A Project Management-related certification would be a distinct advantage
- Knowledge of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) for enterprise-class software development
- Prior experience in the Wealth Management Private & Corporate domain would be a plus
