We're looking for a remote Application Support Engineer for application support of an Atlassian product stack for the client.
The customer is a global leader in the construction industry. The client provides technology-leading products, systems, and services worldwide. We're looking for an Application Support Engineer for application support of an Atlassian product stack for the client.
Responsibilities
- Well-versed with the administration of the following Atlassian Tools (all of them are mandatory)
- Well-versed with backups and upgrades of Atlassian tools
- General overview and understanding of Atlassian best practices
- Well versed with managing and understanding backend database (Oracle and MSSQL)
- Skillset for L2 application support and SLA management
- Ability to run SQL statements to extract data and make config changes on DB as and when required
- Sufficient knowledge for supporting the underlying infrastructure for Atlassian Tools
- Basic knowledge of Linux OS (RHEL) in order to make recommended changes to the configuration
Requirements
- Experience with Atlassian crowd administration
- Possess RHCE/RHCSA – Red Hat Certified System Administrator/Red Hat certified Engineer
- Knowledge with running automated tests and load tests on Jira
- Worked on performance optimization for Atlassian tools
- Good knowledge of license management and patching
- Worked in application support environment
- Proficient English (written and spoken) B2
