We seek a talented Senior/Lead Analyst with BI who is passionate about developing strategies based on data insights to significantly enhance the efficiency and productivity of our clients' services.
Our BI analysts possess experience across various business domains, technologies, and product design. Working with virtually all business domains, our BI analysts have the opportunity to apply their skills in areas they find most engaging, from Health and care/Life Science to Finance/Investment Banking and beyond.
Responsibilities
- Translate business needs into technical requirements
- Build data models to support both current needs and strategic business objectives
- Directly handle data operations influencing the outcome of the final product/service including data cleansing, validation, and profiling
- Engage in modern architectural solution design (DWH, Data Lake, etc.)
- Collaborate with various data specialists (Data Scientists, Engineers, Architects) as a primary data source provider
- Work with stakeholders at all levels, project and technical managers throughout the product lifecycle
- Plan and conduct requirement discovery sessions identifying dependencies and blockers by engaging stakeholders from both business and IT
- Identify and address issues related to current and future data states, improving data quality
- Prototype business needs using various BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
- Influence development processes through backlog management
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a business analyst/data analyst in BI/DWH projects (experience with Big Data projects is a plus)
- Excellent communication skills for managing client expectations, presenting, and conveying interim and final project outcomes to stakeholders
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team without supervision
- Background in RDBM/NoSQL DBS/Data Lake/DWH
- Proficiency in using SQL/PL-SQL/T-SQL/SnowSQL/HiveQL or any scripting language (Python/R/JavaScript)
- Experience in data modeling and creating ETL specifications
- Skills in using modern data visualization tools
- Experience working with Agile teams
- Upper-Intermediate English (B2) for communication with business teams and IT teams across different countries
