Accessibility Consultant

We are looking for a skilled Accessibility Consultant to join EPAM and elevate our accessibility services. The ideal candidate will drive digital accessibility initiatives for our clients' products, ensuring inclusivity and an exceptional user experience for all users.
Responsibilities
- Lead consultative sales efforts and develop proposals
- Deliver impactful pitches for accessibility consulting services aligned with our capabilities
- Facilitate client workshops, guide stakeholder discussions, and lead tasks during project engagements
- Develop and implement a comprehensive accessibility strategy for clients
- Build and maintain a staffing plan to achieve accessibility objectives
- Advocate for accessibility at all levels, including executive leadership
- Lead accessibility training programs for product teams
- Stay updated with accessibility laws, guidelines, and trends
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers to incorporate accessibility best practices
- Define and track metrics to measure product accessibility and report progress
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of experience in digital accessibility
- At least 3 years of experience in leadership roles
- Proven track record in implementing and managing accessibility services and initiatives
- Experience acting as a client partner and supporting client success organizationally
- Ability to engage confidently with high-level client executives and provide strategic guidance
- Strong experience in project management, executing, monitoring, and completion within scope
- In-depth knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG 2.1, ARIA) and legal requirements (e.g., ADA, Section 508)
- Familiarity with assistive technologies, such as screen readers and voice recognition software
- Experience leading roadmap strategy and definition for accessibility initiatives
- Ability to contribute to technology and product-related strategy discussions
- Strong interpersonal skills and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Customer-focused, resourceful, team-oriented, and capable of working independently under time constraints
- Fluent English with strong communication skills

- Experience conducting accessibility audits
- Experience conducting usability tests
- Providing detailed, actionable feedback to development, QA, and design teams to enhance product accessibility
