Senior Functional Tester for Software Company

Perform analysis and functional testing of release features and register found defects

Review test-cases and checklists created by other team members

Create test-cases for manual and automation testing (using Gherkin), functional check-lists for manual testing if needed

Interact with manual test engineers, test automation engineers, BAs, developers and 3rd party teams

Integration testing via API, Kafka

3+ years’ experience as a Tester/QA Engineer, preferably testing large distributed systems, in multiple testing domains but with most emphasis on manual functional testing

Strong knowledge of testing and quality assurance processes

Extensive knowledge of testing techniques/types and ability to apply them in practice

Writing test documentation (test cases, checklists, bug reports, testing strategies)

Analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to perform estimation for testing tasks and prove it

Understanding of Agile methodologies

Fundamental SQL experience, experience in testing web/REST services, experience with BDD approach, experience in test strategy development
