We are on the lookout for a skilled and experienced Senior Cloud Engineer with a robust expertise in Azure to enhance our technology team. This role is crucial for spearheading the development and optimization of our cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability and security in our deployments. As part of our forward-thinking IT department, you'll have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge cloud technologies and contribute to the strategic direction of our cloud capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage cloud-based applications and environments
- Optimize cloud presence to ensure seamless scalability and reliability
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate cloud solutions into business operations
- Drive automation of cloud deployments and operations using state-of-the-art tools
- Ensure security best practices are implemented and maintained throughout cloud architectures
- Provide technical leadership and guidance in cloud technologies to team members
- Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in cloud computing
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in cloud engineering, specifically with a focus on designing and managing Azure environments
- Profound knowledge of Azure and its services to architect robust cloud solutions
- Experience in managing Azure Containers to enhance application scalability and performance
- Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code to automate cloud deployments
- Skilled in Docker for containerizing applications, ensuring consistency across environments
- Strong background in Linux Administration to manage and optimize server operations
- Capability to script in Python or Bash for automation and configuration tasks
- Experience in Agile environments to promote rapid and flexible response to change
- Exceptional problem-solving skills to effectively tackle challenges in a complex cloud architecture
- High level of proficiency in English, necessary for clear and effective communication
Nice to have
- Experience with Helm for managing Kubernetes applications
- Knowledge of Jenkins for automating development processes
- Familiarity with MySQL for database management and optimization
- Skills in Windows Administration to support a diverse server environment
