We are seeking a skilled Solution Architect (.NET) to become part of our remote team. This position is essential in designing and delivering technical solutions that align with organizational objectives. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in software architecture, strong technical capabilities, and a passion for building scalable and reliable systems. You will work closely with diverse teams to ensure smooth project execution and achieve excellent results.
Responsibilities
- Create and implement scalable architecture solutions leveraging .NET technologies
- Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into actionable technical strategies
- Lead technical design sessions, ensuring alignment with global architecture standards
- Provide mentorship and support to development teams, promoting best practices in design and architecture
- Perform code reviews, maintaining high-quality development standards
- Integrate modern technologies and systems into existing infrastructure
- Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement
- Shape the technical direction of project planning and execution
- Keep abreast of new technologies and industry trends
- Ensure security protocols and data protection measures are rigorously applied
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT, specializing in .NET architecture and solutions
- At least 2 years of leadership experience managing teams of 5 or more in technical or managerial roles
- Proven participation in two full project life cycles or multiple projects across various development stages
- Expertise in designing system and solution architectures
- Demonstrated experience in technical leadership roles
- Strong software engineering background with a focus on .NET technologies
- Proficient in creating Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and providing detailed effort estimates
- Advanced knowledge of MS SQL Server (including SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS) and familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Redis
- Practical experience with ASP.NET (including MVC), WCF, and WPF/Prism
- Knowledge of middleware systems like RabbitMQ, Tibco, or IBM MQ
- Solid understanding of RESTful API services and their implementation
- Extensive experience in Test-Driven Development (TDD), CI/CD processes, and maintaining code quality through reviews
- Ability to independently develop and thoroughly test functionalities using pre-defined test cases
- Excellent communication skills in English
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS
- Certifications in architectural frameworks such as TOGAF, EACOE, or equivalent credentials
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices
- Proven ability to lead technical workshops and deliver training sessions
