Middle UX Designer

Currently, we are looking for a remote Middle UX Designer to join our global team

Responsibilities
  • Guide users through the complicated world of insurance with user-centered designs by utilizing market analysis, data, customer feedback, user research and user testing sessions
  • Contribute to creative brainstorming sessions with product discovery to gather initial user requirements
  • Collaborate with product managers on web initiatives, and work closely with design peers, copywriters and developers to create a seamless customer portal experience between the mobile app and web (desktop, tablet and mobile)
  • Present user flows, wireframes, and visual designs to relevant executives, product, and technical stakeholders for review, discussion, and feedback
  • Design in short iterative cycle within an agile framework
  • Follow usability principles, to create accessible interactions, screen layouts, style guides, pattern libraries, images, icons and other visual elements
  • Work with and review deliverables with developers to support and validate the correct implementation of design and user experience (according to brand standards, style guides and pattern libraries)
  • Develop an understanding of competitors in the insuretech and fintech space
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in UX Design
  • Strong Native Mobile skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills to deliver proposals, build support and interact with team members and other departments
  • Ability to lead concepting, ideation, and design process
  • Familiar with industry tools (Sketch, Invision, Principle, Whimiscal and Usertesting.com)
  • A strong team focus with an inherently collaborative mindset
  • Fluency in the latest product design trends, tools and technology cross platform
  • Strong understanding with accessibility guidelines and usability principles and creating style guides for development teams
