responsibilities

Optimize Linux operating systems for high-impact internet-facing production services and distributed systems
Implement and coordinate advanced telemetry using tools like Splunk, Grafana, and Prometheus
Troubleshoot complex issues in Kubernetes and establish high standards and best practices
Create and maintain cutting-edge automation scripts using Bash and Python
Build and operate advanced container orchestration systems like Kubernetes or EKS
Design and maintain robust, high-performance cloud infrastructure with AWS
Champion innovative automation solutions to minimize manual work
Show strong ownership and leadership, effectively communicate, and foster a collaborative team environment
Advocate for continuous learning and improvement within the team
Provide technical mentorship and support to team members
Lead disaster recovery and capacity planning to ensure system resilience and scalability
Take charge of deployment automation using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
Integrate and enhance SRE practices with open source technologies like Cassandra, Kafka, Solr, PostgreSQL, and Redis

requirements

3 to 5 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Infrastructure
Strong proficiency in Linux system administration
Expertise in telemetry tools such as Splunk, Grafana, and Prometheus
In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration
Proficient in scripting with Bash and Python
Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS
Knowledge of deployment automation tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
Proven track record in automating processes and systems
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Experience in disaster recovery and capacity planning
