Remote Senior Business Analyst Job Description
responsibilities
- Design data-driven case analysis of legacy software based on information from customer SMEs
- Transform low-level pseudocode to human-readable business rules
- Mentor other Systems Analysts on the project to do the same
- Ramp up and maintain offshore systems analysts' competency through prescreening candidates, conducting technical interviews, and providing competency-specific onboarding, training, and coaching
- Coordinate analysts' efforts in managing workload, maintaining traceability between input/output artifacts, and adhering to strict security standards of the Customer
- Enrich and maintain competency knowledgebase
- Write user stories including acceptance criteria
- Communicate effectively with internal and external customers
- Maintain a high level of detail and organization in all work
requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in Business Analysis, working with complex systems
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform and Atlassian platform administration
- Strong knowledge of Jira and SDLC Methodologies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with internal and external customers
- Detail-oriented, organized, and the ability to multitask
- Experience in creating documentation from scratch and writing user stories (including acceptance criteria)
- Proven experience as a technical mentor
- Understanding of relational databases querying
- English proficiency at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
nice to have
- Experience with Atlassian Confluence and Jira
- Understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe frameworks
- Knowledge of big data querying and Python coding
