Drive adoption of WCAG AA standards and any applicable government standards through client's development and design process
Solutioning with Designers and Developers how to minimally adjust their work (visual design / code) to ensure a compliant accessible experience
Coordinate with 3rd parties to ensure secondary compliance and usability
Conducts design level, code level and screen reader based digital accessibility audits and provides guidance to designers and developers
Provide tactical guidance to novice teams on remediations and screen reader testing
Create and maintain accessibility health measures
Manages multiple projects simultaneously and supports the team’s design and tech backlog
Demonstrate a commitment to core values

requirements

7+ years in accessibility and advocacy
3+ years in program management, project management
Experience with assistive technologies (e.g., NVDA, JAWS, Voiceover, Talkback, & Dragon) and testing tools (e.g., axe, PAC3, & CCA)
Strong leadership and mentoring skills
Detail-oriented with strong communication skills
Comfortable with public speaking and handling conflict and prioritize projects with competing resources
Bachelor's degree required
IAAP certification (CPACC, WAS, etc)
DHS v5 Trusted Tester certification
PMP certification
Design and research tools including Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, Mural, Axure, UserTesting
Ability to analyze code for accessibility issues
Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Jira and Confluence
Strong emotional intelligence and deep empathy
