Skills expected from Oracle remote Developers

Oracle job requirements go far beyond a good knowledge of Oracle infrastructure. Proficiency with databases, familiarity with SQL, and web development experience are usually expected from a senior-level specialist. Among specific skills for an Oracle SQL Developer are:

  • solid experience with Oracle services, publishers, database development, maintaining, testing, and documenting
  • proficiency in writing and tuning complex SQL queries by studying and indexing DB objects, creating materialized views, and so on
