We're looking for a Senior Ruby Developer to become part of our Payments team, where our goal is to deliver the fastest, highest-converting and most flexible checkout experience among all SaaS ecommerce solutions. In this role, you'll develop and grow APIs and services while collaborating with engineers, product owners, designers, business representatives and external partners to maintain a platform that securely integrates new payment providers and creates new features.
The position includes participation in an on-call rotation, which may require availability outside standard working hours to support production incidents and ensure system stability.

- Develop and grow APIs and services for the checkout experience
- Work together with engineers, product owners, designers, business representatives and external partners
- Maintain a platform that securely integrates new payment providers
- Create new features for merchants and partners
- Offer a wide variety of APIs and SDKs that enable merchants and partners to build their preferred checkout experience
- Enable customization so each merchant can craft a distinctive and engaging checkout flow
- Monitor applications and gather operational intelligence using appropriate tooling
- Aim for operational efficiency and creative problem-solving
- Put the team ahead of individuals in a remote-first setting
Навички
- At least 3 years of experience in software engineering
- Strong expertise in Ruby
- Competence in Scala and PHP (version 8)
- Knowledge of Prometheus, Sentry and Kibana for application monitoring and operational intelligence
- Ability to develop and grow APIs and SDKs
- Experience working remote-first within a collaborative team setting
- English proficiency at B2 level or above
