We are looking for a Senior Python Engineer to join our team and contribute to an automated system that assesses Oil and Gas field safety and suggests optimization scenarios based on real-time data processing. In this role, you will develop and extend simulation scenarios, work with internally developed infrastructure on top of Cognite Data Fusion, and collaborate with subject matter experts to implement and test complex production system logic.

- Design, develop, test, and deploy Python-based applications and solutions
- Develop and deploy Python solutions on Cognite Function and Azure Kubernetes Services
- Write unit test cases to ensure code quality and reliability
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain Python applications
- Develop new simulation scenarios and extend existing ones for Oil and Gas Production systems
- Perform bugfixes based on testers observations
- Use uploaded data from ETL pipelines to run simulation scenarios
- Collaborate with SMEs to implement required steps, processes, and logic for GAP application
- Get familiar with GAP application to test edge cases
- Learn and apply cognite-sdk based on assigned tasks
Навички
- 5+ years of experience in back-end development
- English proficiency at B2 level
- Strong understanding of Python programming and software development principles
- Experience with C# and Web API
- Familiarity with Python frameworks, libraries, and deployment methodologies
- Good understanding of Azure Cloud, particularly Azure Functions
- Experience with libraries such as cognite-sdk, openserver, pandas, and numpy
