We are seeking a Senior Node.js Engineer to join a contact-center transformation initiative for a retail e-commerce platform selling connected consumer devices. This program is building two new self-serve customer journeys on the client's website: a digital returns and order-cancellation journey, and an appointments journey. Delivery is run by a client-side Project Manager, Product Owners, and Scrum Master, with EPAM resources working as embedded delivery team members within that Scrum framework.
Чим ви будете займатися у цій ролі
- Design, build, and test AWS-based backend services supporting the journeys above
- Integrate new services with existing client systems and internal APIs
- Operate within a Scrum delivery model led by the client Product Owner and Scrum Master, including sprint planning, refinement, and daily standups
- Use CI/CD via GitHub Actions for build and deployment
- Collaborate with Salesforce developers and QA engineers on the same team
Навички
- 5+ years of experience with Node.js and TypeScript
- Proven, hands-on expertise in serverless architecture (essential), ideally using AWS-native patterns and services
- Hands-on background in AWS Lambda, SQS, EventBridge, and Step Functions (highly advantageous)
- Familiarity with AWS S3, DynamoDB, and RDS (advantageous)
- Practical skills in Git or similar version control systems
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Proven track record of delivering robust, scalable, and maintainable systems
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and effective team collaboration
- High attention to detail with the ability to work independently and proactively
- English level B2 or higher
