We are looking for a Senior DBA Engineer who will be able to plan and execute a phased migration of a large MySQL database available in multiple zones.

Чим ви будете займатися у цій ролі

Plan and execute a phased migration of a large MySQL database available in multiple zones
Design and maintain MySQL databases across multiple zones
Preparation of cutover procedures for database migration
Disaster recovery planning and execution
Performance tuning and query optimization of MySQL databases
Configuration of replication, backups and high availability
Management of MySQL deployments on Amazon RDS and Amazon Aurora
Monitoring and troubleshooting of database health and capacity

Навички

Proficiency in MySQL with proven experience in planning and executing databases
Expertise in Amazon Web Services including Amazon RDS, Amazon Aurora and Amazon EC2
Skills in MySQL replication, backup and recovery and high availability
Competency in performance tuning, query optimization and indexing
Background in preparing cutover and disaster recovery
Familiarity with AWS networking, IAM and CloudWatch
English level B2+
