Lead Software Test Automation Engineer in Python

We are looking for a Lead Software Test Automation Engineer in Python to implement and execute a robust testing framework, driving quality across automated testing initiatives while mentoring team members in a fast-paced environment.
Our client is a global leader in prestige beauty retail, part of one of the world's leading luxury goods conglomerates. Operating across international markets, the company is recognized for its expertise, innovation, and entrepreneurial approach to beauty retail, empowering customers through immersive and personalized shopping experiences.
The project involves developing MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers to power two key initiatives: enabling third-party partners to build their own AI shopping agents integrated with the client's retail ecosystem, and creating internal AI agents that support the client's internal services by automatically detecting and resolving operational issues as they occur.
- Implement and execute automated tests to ensure comprehensive coverage
- Set up, maintain, and enhance the Test Automation Framework (TAF)
- Implement and extend CI/CD pipelines
- Create API and UI tests to validate system functionality
- Test AI Agents to ensure accuracy and reliability
- Lead and mentor team members in test automation best practices
- Work with data architectures and data pipelines to support testing efforts
- 6+ years of experience in software test automation, including 2+ years in a leading capacity
- Experience with TAF enhancement and implementation of automated tests
- Background in working with data architectures and data pipelines
- Proficiency in Python and frameworks such as pytest, pytest-xdist, and Playwright
- Expertise in creating API and UI tests
- Experience in testing AI Agents
- Familiarity with ChatGPT or other chatbots based on LLM
- Start-up mindset
- B2+ English proficiency or higher
- Prior experience with LLMs, search systems, or NLP projects
- Basic understanding of how LLM works
- Familiarity with langchain and derivative frameworks
